Prob with the I6 was it couldn't pass emissions anymore. I really think they should throw the 3L diesel from the GC in the wranger, that would be a good combo. Or at least the 4.7 V8.
We put a set of 33" tires on 16" wheels on a 2dr wrangler, and it had troubles hitting 80. The 07 Rubicon we traded in with a 4" lift and 35's was a joke on the interstate (and sucked at the gas pump)
