She had her break up in the news for months at least. What he did was nothing compared to that.
If it was my 17 year old (or 19) daughter I would be pissed, but I would also be pissed if it was my 30 something year old wife.
He has a right to his opinion but he should have expressed that opinion later that night. He could have done it on his website, Facebook or Twitter.
