Great story here. Guy has uniquely modified 996 Duc stolen. Another forum member sees the bike on craigslist remembers the post and contacts the OP. Thief has switched the frame with a fresh VIN. OP contacts police and is able to prove ownership of the bike as well as very detailed knowledge of it, including every ding, scratch, nut and bolt. Thief gets driven away by cops in handcuffs.
