yeah I love going in there for windshield wipers and they ask if I have a 4cyl or 6cyl motor... if it's manual or auto.... if it's 4x4 or 2x4...

)

AT least most of the kids that work around the auto shops here seem very helpful and fairly knowledgable. They like performance cars and bikes and that's a good thing.

I've had similar experiences at ALL auto parts places, save one old shop I used to have a regular relationship with (had an account with them). Even then, only perhaps two cats in the fucking store had a clue, and if they weren't there, I'd call back.

Getting parts is always a clusterfuck.

National parts stores typically only compound such a difficult situation.

Add a phone, and you're just askin' fer it.
