That's actually what I was thinking about running, for a CBR seeing mostly mountain action would you go 15/42 or 16/42? My CBR is an 04 so it came with a 41 rear sprocket.

You won't notice much of a difference going from 16/41 to 16/42 for street riding. I'd try the 15/41 and see how you like it.
