With the HF changer? I posted bar mods and the Mojo-blocks probably a year ago... Between the changer parts being on sale, a 20% coupon in MC mag and the Mojo-blocks, I have about $150 invested. I've made that back 10 times over...In fact, my GF bought the tire machine as a gift in the first place as thanks for helping her with her bike. Between friends, my gf and myself, I've changed about 15 tires so far.

Mojoblocks web site, fwiw I've modded my HF bar so that it doesn't scratch and use rim savers at leverage points but I've heard great things about this guy's bar as well. I still may buy one next season.

As far as the condition of the tire...Well, I normally swap out a lot sooner...
