508 hill country miles and my butt hurt - 12 hours over the course of the day stopping to chat, gas up and eat only...8am - 8pm.....was fun though

Iron Butt pace - 1060 miles from Suches, Georgia to Oklahoma City. 22 hours on the road.
Non Iron Butt pace - 800 miles from Chicago, Illinois to Oklahoma City. 15 hours on the road. Quote:

I rode from Detroit to Chicago one time on a bet when I had my 'Busa... It actually didn't take all that long...
 Other than that, I've put in some 3-400 milers on occasion. Back in the mid-90s I rode with a buddy from El Paso, Tx to LA and we also rode from El Paso to LV but that's about it.
