That's a good way of putting it. I'd probably insert friends as #2, and bump motorcycles down to #3, however since most of our friends also ride, it goes hand in hand.
I definitely see us riding in 20 years; I think we'll graduate to sport tourers eventually, and I'd love to do some long distace and adventure riding. |

![]() Motorcycling is a huge part of my life. I'll ride as long as I am physically able to. Fortunately for me, Carolina is into motorcycling as much as me, so I know she feels the same way. Might have something to do with why I proposed to her.

I have only been riding 5 years but it has become a major part of my life. Almost all my friends are motorcyclists, all my vacations have been motorcycle related, met my boyfriend at a motorcycle show. Shit, my christmas/birthday presents all revolve around the bike now. Christmas 2007 Kerry surprised me with a new penske rear shock for Christmas and all the women that were there (wifes at a bike rally) looked at me like I was nuts to be so happy. I got a single sided 8 spoke VFR wheel a few years earlier (for the Hawk project). Can't picture life with out motorcycles for a LONG time. Hope to ride till I can't, then I'll get a dreaded trike.

This is my third season on the bike. Don't see it stopping anytime soon, though my tastes are evolving slowly. I'm losing interest in the supersports. The 650R is plenty of trouble, so I'm thinking of something to share the garage that's a little bigger with more distance/two-up comfort that still has guts. Like a Bandit- not quite the extreme of a GS.

But a trike, really?

I feel I'll follow in GasMan's footsteps sooner rather than later. Much of that is because of the location I live in however.
Currently, bikes are a fun mode of transportation more than anything else. |

I will tell ya this Cutty. Skip all else in between and go straight to the bagger. Kinda wish I did besides the fact of all the knowledge I gained going thru the chop. You can ride the ultra at 40* with nothing more than a good leather jacket, good gloves, and maybe something over your face if you have a 1/2 on. Its amazing. And I don't even have the heated grips & seat.
