You mean, them racing it in WSBK didn't give it away?

If it wasn't for the looks, I'd have money on one...I did buy the 'Busa, so I am capable of overlooking aesthetics in favor of performance... We'll see.

Depends on which dyno they use. Dynojets tend to show high numbers.

BTW, if the BMW really puts out that much oomph, don't you guys think that they would show in WSBK races? Granted the handling might not be there, but with that much power advantage, the Beemers would have shown some serious acceleration and passing at the straights.

I guess I'm pessimistic because I've been disappointed by BMW for too long. Besides, the Aprilia RSV4 is the bike to beat. It has the sexiness, the sauciness, the looks and the handling that BMW can only dream of.

for the first part ill say power isint everything or motogp would be running screamers. For the second part i wholly agree. Aprilia hit it clean out of the park with the rsv4. Im hoping this year it works into a title for them

Well I was looking around their site, and I think 183 may be a bit optomistic.
they tested an 08 busa, and they said it made 183 also, but no other dyno has shown numbers like that for a stock busa.

I would bet the BMW will come in at 167-173 on most dynos.
