When it first came out, what phones were faster? Nobody even had 3G that I recall. What was that, 4 years ago?

blackberries, blackberries were far superior to the first gen iphone.

Never heard of blackberries being known for their web browsing skills, but then I've never paid attention to them. To me the only reason to buy BB was because your employer told you to.

It has a simple browser that is effective, but it has a lot of things still that Apple has yet to get right. Apple has the world's shittiest notification system. Blackberry is the best by far. There are a lot of things about blackberries that are just top notch, but they are weak as an entertainment phone.

True... they had Google maps, turn by turn, TV, tons of stuff that some carriers are even now just getting.
