Even the suspension guy told me to upgrade to the 2011 10r because they "finally got the chassis right" when I wanted to get a 2008 R1. He said ithe 2008 R1 t is a heavy POS, that a 2007 would be a much better option if I wanted an R1.

They are very close...but Kawis does not suck any longer, yet still easiest to work on.
Don't you mean the 2006 R1 would be a better option? The 2007 and 2008 are the same bike.

Yeah I was mistaken when he first posted the 2008...I thought that was the heavy crossplane bike...but it is not.
