Dont look at CL up here in Albany then...LOTS of good deals lately...good thing I'm busted from having my mom and aunt in town last week...lol

I rode two-stroke street bikes for eight years before I got the GS. RD400's and H1's would beat my GT550 in a straight line, but the GT had a torque curve that looked like a big scoop of ice cream. Perfect for accelerating out of sharp corners. I never did anything to the engine, but I highly modified the suspension. And that three cylinder was so smooth. Too bad it had a weak ignition. And replacing and adjusting three sets of points and condensers was a pain and expensive.

yikes, points. wonder if theres been a conversion kit worked up anywhere?

Guess you just need to move down here... the only bikes on CL that are under 2 grand are Chinese mopeds. When a good deal does come up, I've seen them vanish in less than 4 hours. It's nuts.
