Dude that sucks..hope no damage came of it. Genetics most likely as I think ur only 30 something or from some type of head trauma in the past.

lost all power and motor control of my left side. but I'm getting it back... I'm probably at 80% mobility... and 70% strength... i expect I can make a full comeback... hopefully as soon as the one month mark ie 21 Feb.

as for the cause, they have no idea... not genetic or at least no apparent genetic trait for strokes or clotting... but who the hell knows...

Hope you're doing well. I had 3 heart attacks in December...a Thursday night, a Friday night then the "final" one on Sunday morning before I finally decided to go to the hospital

. I now have a couple of stents in my coronary arteries. Surgeon said I got to the hospital with only a couple of hours to spare. Then got the bill yesterday for $85,000! 'Bout gave me another one. Like you, my cholesterol is "perfect" and no family history. Ya just never know.

damn that's crazy... yeah I live about .75 miles from the hospital and the ambulance ride came in at $1,085.... just wished I got that mileage when I moved for the military
