If that bike is running 8s* with a stock swingarm, then extended ones are for looks.

*it does

not my point
i edited for clarity

8's on a stock armed bike is quite do-able im well aware of that lol
but, add three inches and he'll go quicker, all things being the same. there arent any low 7 second bikes with stock length swingarms. probably a reason for that

Okay, here's my submission: I'm pointing to my "Craziest Non-Functional Motorcycle Modification"

(I was trying not to laugh when I took this )

Reading Comprehension FTW... I said FUNCTIONAL not Quality... or Skill.

I've probably ridden more lately than 90% of the people on the board (25,000 miles in 13 months). never said I was more talented or skilled never will...

and if you'd have read it correctly... you'd see that my reply was a joke too.

functional - capable of operating

That was the joke, I was making fun of you because you are incapable of operating a motorcycle. If you want to get into the butthurt definitions of operating, yes operating could involve something as simple starting it up or going to the store or as my joke was refering to capable of operating the motorcycle to the limit which would mean to a high level of skill. Capable of operating doesn't specify a quantity of usage.

It's official you're ginger.
