The current look (once again, in my opinion) borrows too much from current and previous YamaKawaHonzuki designs. It is nowhere near as distinctive as previous generations.

916 was japanezeed.

theres only so much you can do with plastic and aerodynamics. Ducati irks me more with their porsche-like insistance on a certain layout. Single swing, trellis, 90* twin. Almost every time. Then again most of the japs have kept to layout as well with a few notable exceptions.

True enough, what's Yamaha up to now? DeltaBox 9?

Per Wikipedia (though no visual references were offered)

Single-sided swingarms date from at least the late 1940s being used on the 1949 German Imme and the 1950 Moto Guzzi Galetto.

Since that the V4 Tuono is still at prototype stage, methinks that it would be difficult for your dealership to have one for sales. Perhaps you mean the V-twin Tuono?

They sale Aprilia's now...I didn't mean that particular bike BUT since I'm not that familiar with the bikes I admit that I didn't know that was a prototype. Obviously it was the V-Twin that my friend was considering...doh !!

I was just responding to Phoenix Rider's post.
