I think it's a great idea for a company that still has the rights to this to be able to leverage that for profit in order to remain viable...and to offer a product that satisfies nostalgia seeking computer users who will surely enjoy it for its fine retro style and function.
In other words; Awesome packaging job for PC.

Our CEO just got one - it showed up with the built-in keyboard not working. Just opened it up to check it out for him and fix it. There's a sticker on the back that states "Individual components have been tested. System as a whole is not tested." Besides the KB not being plugged into the system board, one of the CPU fans was loose and not sitting right. May have just been something that happened in shipping or maybe they just slap it together and send it out just like the decal suggests.
In any case, pretty neat inside, has the wi-fi antennta tucked away in there. Not exactly a powerhouse of a PC but the nostalgia factor is cool. |
