NHL playoffs

Well its that time of year again and at least my sabres are still playing. I was hoping they would catch montreal or philly in the first round. Boston is scrappy enough and has a good goalie that they could steal a series or 2, plus they beat buffalo 4 times this year.

It's only gonna be you and me fighting about this Tom. I think this might be the best series in the entire playoffs no matter who wins...I wish we had Savard but the B's have actually done better than I thought without him. Recchi has seriously stepped it up as the playmaker in the last dozen games...

Detroit has been in playoff mode for the last 2 months winning 17 of their last 22 games. Hopefully they can continue that trend. These god damn 10PM Eastern games though are going to kill me.

They shelled thomas last time out but rask has been solid so thats what worries me. it does seem like vanek has gotten prety hot llatley and if they can get connoly back it will be a big help.

I was hoping to see Philly miss the playoffs all together. Lundquist is the fucking man in SO all damn year until yesterday. WTF. F U Philly.

Hope not, but I doubt the Pens get through the 2nd round.

I dont wanna see Phoenix(Detroit is my team...), just a bad feeling about playing a team that has something to prove and the league ownership is kinda fucked up. I think the Bruins are gonna be the team to come out of the East, and I am a Sens fan. I think am glad I am gonna be off the next few weeks...I wont miss a game. I hope the Pens get booted and embarrassed before we see a threepeat of the SCF this year.

I'm looking forward to some great hockey in this year's playoffs. My Stars had a shit year, I'll have to sit down tomorrow and line out my picks for the playoffs. I'm curious how far Phoenix will go with the Stars old coach, and at the same time I kinda want them to lose because I've always had a thing against PHX (except for Kapanen). My roomie's a Wings fan, so I'd be alright with them, and I like Boston too...
