I'm sorry - I thought the fact that it's made by HTC and running Android software made it an HTC Android. Who knew??

I think he meant with HTC's Sense UI.

True... anyway,I'm taking the wait and see approach. No use switching without major upgrades.

Im looking forward to getting Froyo on my Droid, supposedly its coming out in June. Id be shocked if Verizon allowed the tethering feature but Ill jailbreak the phone to get it if I have to. Being able to use my existing data plan for another device like an iPad would be great.

Pfff fuck sense. It eats ram and glitches on android.
It made winmo though.

The N1 for being googles phone has kinda been surpassed by the incredible & evo..wait 512 & snapdragon... only diff is the camera.

I personally like the n1... juat all aroundst for the new updates.. and the first to get gingerbread in Q4

But hey ports are usually pretty good.. im using a port right now....

I dunno man, every single review I've read of the Incredible says its the fastest on the market and virtually glitch free....even when running numerous apps. The one I played with today displayed the same behavior...

We'll see....I hope it doesn't make me miss my iPhone.

No what he's saying is that all of the "new gen" Android phones are using the same processor and have the same capabilities. What sets the EVO apart is that it has more ram BUT since there isn't any frickin' 4g coverage, it's kinda worthless. Which also kinda negates the tethering and hot spot features as well...The big features on the Incredible and the EVO for me revolve around the camera and the video capabilities... They are both 8M cameras and the EVO will record in 720p, I believe a first for a phone, and play that video directly to your HDTV via a HDMI cord. Every other "feature" will be available on the N1 when the update comes out.
