That's true...unfortunately,I was forever soured on the "turbo bike" idea after one ride on my buddy's Turbo Kawasaki back in the 80s... I literally considered my V-Max a "tamer"/safer ride!

I think that all depends on application and how it's engineered. If it takes all day to spool up then WOOOSH... yeah, I wouldn't be interested... From the looks of it and the dyno chart, it's relatively progressive.

At the very beginning of that vid when he is idling it up, it sounds like it is running like shit, but might just be the sound.

I noticed that too but,I've never heard a turbo single before... It could be that,like all turbos,you have to lower the compression so the motor rarely runs "right" before the turbo starts to come into play...at least in my experience.

Don't get me wrong,I like speed as much as the next guy but my admittedly limited experience with turbo bikes found the lag and hit too long and too abrupt,respectively. There's no replacement for displacement,at least when it comes to bikes IMHO,of course.
