I know. I'm with you on that. But, here's how the Ducati world works... my bikes are now OLD. The rest of the crowd has moved on to at least the 999's and 1098's. Pretty soon, the dry clutches will be a thing of the past.
The interesting thing with the bikes I have, I can interchange parts between the three of them. I mean, the 998 and 748 are damn near identical other than the actual motor - even then they have the same injectors and sensors. Even the 1994 monster has parts that have just evolved to the newer bikes. They haven't done that with the new ones.

Motherfucker... no adapter in the box... would you think, if you order a 45-to-50mm system, that they would get you the 50mm exhaust with the 45-to-50mm adapter??!?!
Now, do you think I looked for it while at the shop??!? No... I didn't notice until I had the exhaust off. Not that it was difficult, but STILL!! UGH. Just called the shop, and they're going to "see what they can do". It probably won't be before tomorrow. Evan will be home at 11:30 - with the cans in the box. grrrrrrrrrrrr

OK, so after trying to find a part that Arrow doesn't make any longer - the midpipe is a thing of the past. I mean, I found a guy in California, but he wanted to charge me another $200 for something I supposedly had already.
I returned the Arrow slip-ons to the DucShop - and went online. I found a Termi half system for less than I paid for the slip-ons! Woot!!! So, now it's on... the pipes took me all of 34 seconds to get off, and about 20 minutes to put on. But, the on doesn't count against me... Evan wanted to do it himself (drinking beer) It SOUNDS fantastic!! And, now the bikes are closer to matching than before.
