yeah its out there but the rear brake has to be stomped to get a response of any kind and that is with a braided line. I am going to look into fixing it but I feel like after test riding 3 that it is a el cheapo Hayes rear caliper. No worries thou the front brake is hella strong.

Back brake is just right on the XB. Not enough power to lock it unless you hammer it.

Thanks! I really enjoyed my reflection in the storefront windows on my Sunday ride! I have really fallen in love with torque as well. I am breaking it in so I havent gotten to taste anything but mid range but it sure is fun!

I have always been kind of intrigued by the Buells....just because they look so damned odd. Curious to ride one....rather than judge them by their looks.

I'll be down to the Fayetteville area in late August to ride the Pig Trail....we'll have to meet up....it would be nice to have a "local" show me the fun roads in the area.

I gots around 325 mi so far. 225 saturday. Been heat cycling the motor and doing graduated roll ons in each gear. I am up to 7k or 8k in the higher gears.

Gregman, PM me to xchange contact numbers and I will show you the good stuff. 23 is a tourist rd, great unless traffic is there. You want to see 103, 215, 123 and a couple more...

OK Tached, this is tough, 636 is like sitting on the nose of a rocket, afterburner on, pushing you thru the sky at a feverish pace every time you wind it on. The 1125r is like being sucked by a giant tractor beam thru time. Both accelerate at about the same power just in way different ways. The Zx is rheostat smooth, no character, just pulls to match your rpm and revs manic. The 1125 has a loppy feel that

never seems rushed but speed builds anyway. twice the torque doesnt hurt and makes it easy to use.
Chassis wise they are close, the 636 having slightly better flickabilty and feel, but the Buell is rock steady at lean. Both are stiff but the feedback you get is different, the 636 tells you everything about what traction you have available where the Buell is a more muted feel, but so stable you dont even worry for what you dont know...
