Ok, so I know nothing about being a sailor at all, but it kinda seems to me that these guys are ameaturish. The ship has no engines, is rolling to the piont of almost capsizing, and these guys are drinking coffee in the kitchen ? Shouldn't they be wearing survival suits and prepping the life boats? Calling out maydays and shit? Maybe its just carefull TV editing, but my ass would have been inside a red rubber body condom with an emergency beacon sitting inside a life raft preparing to kick the women and kids in the nuts and cunts so I dont loose my spot.

Oh, I got to admit a wrong I posted in this thread. Apparently the Ady Gil didn't ram the ship.

The Japs edited their video nicely. Notice the dramatic fucking course change to run those fuckers over.

The whaler definitely turned toward Earthrace but it also looks like Earthrace powered in front of the whaler.

Holy shit, they just showed it on whale wars. The Ady Gil had engines off and they were on top of it waiting for refueling from a ship that was days away. The Jap ship went after them directly and on purpose. It's pretty freakin crazy.

They weren't trying to mess with this ship, they had were letting the fleet go through and just needed more fuel.

no, they are going to re-air tonight on animal planet. Watch for yourself. It's very clear the Japs did it on purpose. They even admit to it during radio talks during the mayday's from the bob barker to the Jap boat right after it happens.

The ady gil started up engines right before it happened to try to avoid them, so it looks like the ady gil tried to get in the way when they were actually trying to get the hell out of the way to avoid getting rammed.

GOOD!!! They have been asking for it for years. I've said it before, you will only take so much before you start hitting back. All that crying by the captain, maybe he should have thought about that before he put his "multi-million" boat in their way. I would have hit them a long time ago. BTW the captain even said that they had hassled the whaler all night. The other thing is how they made this SO dramatic and yet the boat was still floating hours later.
