I just got a set of Pirelli Sport Demons...they stick good, but I've heard they wear out fast too. I think I can sacrifice mileage for good sticky tires myself...especially while I'm de-greenhorning...lol

I would suggest going with more of a sport/tourer if you want mileage.

I'm sure you know too that tire pressure makes a difference in how long they last.

The easiest solution is to lay off the throttle.

Good point. I run my Corsa's at 37 front and rear and they still look great.
