every 600 i've seen will do 100++ mph. that's not slow in my book.

I started on an SV650S, and it was more than enough. It's real easy to get yourself into trouble even when you KNOW what you are doing and how to handle it. Even moreso when you don't have a clue.

And if you think a 600 is too small, not enough power, look at Ebbs. his 600 with "outdated" technology still managed to loop it, even with a somewhat experienced rider on board.

get a busa, plenty fast enough, if its not enough, they make supercharged headlight fluid that will bump you up atleast 80+ hp

There's a downgrade. Smaller fairing, uncomfortable seat, less mass, fuel injection, no centerstand, yuck.

I have to agree. your CBR 1000 was built for long distance comfort AND performance. looking at the stats, its only like half a second off from an 05 or so 1000RR in the 1/4 mile, but WAY more comforting for those longer rides. I'll take the 1000F over any newer 1000 any day.
