Handle every stressful situation like a DOG: If you can't eat it or hump it, pi$$ on it & walk away.

We'll go riding one weekend and diving the next. I think that you'd love oil rig diving.

I want to go diving too, I can barely swim though, would that be a problem? I have a problem floating.

Sounds like a plan, although it might be about a year til I'm out there, the roads and rigs will still be there!

Well, you want to sink when you dive, so you should be good!

If your swimming problem is related to floating, then it shouldn't be an insurmountable problem, however, being comfortable in the water is a big part of diving. If you're comfortable in the water then it should be OK, if you are very uncomfortable in the water then it might be a problem.

I love the water, i just have a fear of drowning, which i think is reasonable. I'm such a bad swimmer though, i expend a whole bunch of energy doing a whole bunch of nothing trying to float that i just wear myself out so unless i can touch the ground, i stay out of the deep end. Now if i can wear floaties, then i'll be good.

I should probably go take some swimming lessons so i can go participate in more water activities.
