Do not buy ANYTHING from powerstands racing. They are thieves who copy other companies' ideas and sell them.

See the recent article in roadracingworld about how they should be boycotted for stealing intellectual property from many companies in the industry, including gilles and yoshimura.

Buy a pit bull stand, made in the usa by a great company with great people. I have four of their stands and two of their trailer restraints. Honest folks who stand behind their product.

Dnyce and other twfixers (regulars) PM me and I will get you free shipping if you place your order directly with pit bull

get the pit bull, they are worth the money. Thats what I have now, also have a set of t-rex stands but they are far inferior to the pit bulls!

I am a little lady and can manage the pit bulls, had to have the hubby put the bike on the other stands or I would drop it. good thing its just a track bike!

Same withthe handy stands I use em at the track or to prop the bike up in the winter but if I am doing any sort of work on the bike I always use the pit bulls.

Ive used a front stand before, and the only down side to it is that it can get in the way if you are working under the bike, banged my knee on it changing sprockets a few times, its pretty painful too.

Do you mean a rear stand but with the forward facing handle? If you need clear access to the side of the bike, those can be turned 180 degrees so the arm extends behind the bike, leaving the side clear for access.

I have the forward-handle pitbull, it rocks, I don't understand why people buy the regular one, it takes up too much space behind the bike.

How does the forward handle affect access to side of the bike?
I used a wheeled stool, and I can see the handle getting in the way.

I have a rear stand, that has a retractable handle. It works awesome.
