It always is, it's just a mix of people. Novice guys bump up because they don't want to do the class part anymore slow the pack up and slower Advanced guys who are tired of getting passed bump down so they can make themselves feel better and then you have the real intermediates who are fast enough to get someone hurt makes for an interesting time.

le sigh...im still kicking myself for not being able to make it to this one...
I may however be hitting up lil talladega that weekend for a run...got a group from here heading that way, so if im not working I may finagle my way to another track day... |

You should look into private track days by your local forum. There is a local group here that only brings about 20 people and they only put 6-7 people on the track at a time and it's riding with people you know and either the same skill as you or not out to race you, but to build skill level.
