45MPH cross winds are fun when you're riding through the desert at 2am, running triple digits, and you've been up for 20 hours after sleeping about 4 hours the night before... Oh, and you're on a bike you've never ridden before loaded down with 70lbs of gear.

Wasn't too bad running east-west, but north-south was just a ball!

Considering they have cut down every tree that God ever planted here in Kansas, it makes for some fun stuff. Then ya got cagers passing you at 85mph, cutting the wind and sending the bike off in a whole new direction!!!
