What was damaged on your bike? Like a mirror or something? Those race rails prevent a lot of damage. Good thing you had 'em. And 20 degrees is cold as hell.

only thing I can think of is he got his foot or something in between the road and the fairings and it cracked them...

Question for a few... when i went down i never hit my head(helmet) on the ground on the initial fall but did scrape it across the ground when i slide... do i need to still replace my helmet other than cosmetic??
