Didnt he butcher the frame on his ZX10 to "Save weight"? The pictures of the 10 in that link don't show huge holes in the frame so I'm guessing it was before that. Or maybe someone convinced him to scrap the frame.

Trip, he made speed holes in the frame of his zx10 so that air would flow through it better and it would be lighter. He also sort of fabricated a number of super light ghetto parts to put on his bike like a muffler. He was a maniac and I thought he was destined for an early death.

here is a video of his home made muffler

a story of his sexual encounters

and the real meat of his story, this is how he made his bike faster... (better ram air and lighter)

Red, he has photos of a zx10 that were taken in 2011, his bike massacre took place in 2010 so he either replaced the frame or bought a new bike. I doubt that his old zx10 with the cut frame would survive a speedbump, there wasnt much left of the frame at all. If you look through the pictures he removed the insoles of a pair of sidi crossfire boots because at 4.4 lbs they are too heavy. He also removed parts from a Shoei helmet to save weight but it looks like vents, the rubber strip around the bottom of the helmet, and the visor latch
