the pilot roads are known to be less then ideal sport tires, but extremely high milage
the road 2's are getting awesome reviews from the local riders in the area

I had done some agressive riding on the priller with them and had no issues, granted I wasnt going to keep up withthe faster guys on regular sportbikes but they did fine all things considered.

I had also heard the same stuff about the road 2's

i think its all relative, there is a local guy on a old gpz 750 turbo that rocks out the roads like no ones business and i bet 90% of ss riders wouldnt last three corners before he is out of sight, and alot of ppl are using the road 2s with good success

its funny all of the guys in the area that are fast are on odd bikes
vfr's

They just never felt right. Didn't seem to grip very well and tracked badly in ruts and bridge gratings and tar-and-chip (most of the roads around here). The handling and feeedback were strange. And I'm one of those weird people that doesn't like the feeling of "falling" into corners. The Pirellis have a more round profile, so they feel more stable and linear.

Never realized there was so much hatred for Pilot Powers. They've done well by me for trck days and street riding. Great price for a good tire IMO.

I haven't heard much bad about the Powers- other than they are street tires, not DOTs. I was talking about the Roads.

I love my Pilot Powers. Never had the least squiggle from them.
