yeah... they're not only nicer for the track... but they're up high and more noticeable for drivers... and they don't get washed out by bright headlights as easy...
that's one thing I like about the new GSXR... the headlights are supposed to be actually very good! now if they'd just left the exhaust alone... instead of fucking it up with that big monstrosity! |

Actually they are worse for the track, they are a pain in the ass to take off.

well i've never taken em off. i suppose if the connectors were right there (by the bolts) it would be fairly simple. but, while all i've ridden is honda, they are not always known for simplicity.

The CBR needs a slipper and the torque numbers are less than impressive. The 848 has some nice torque but there has to be a way to smooth out the valley from 5-6k RPM.

The Duc is $4-4.5k more than the rest...humm...
The Triumph price-wise looks like a great deal. The Gsxr surprised me. |
