Default Syncing Tools

Is there any advantage to spending $100 on a Motion Pro tuner as opposed to $40 on a generic mercury-filled tuner? Besides being less toxic in the case of a leak or break, is the Motion Pro any more accurate..?

MOTION PRO SYNC PRO CARBURETOR CARB TUNER

vs.

Carb Sync Mercury Tuner W/ 5 & 6mm adapters-Motorcycle

I've never sychronized my carbs or throttle bodies myself, but I'm about to try on my SV.

Dude you can build one for damned near free with a yardstick, aquarium air tubing, and some motor oil.

I have this one, but now that I've made the switch to thumpers, there's nothing to sync.

I don't know if I want to get rid of it or not.

I also have this:

The whole works was $162 new. I've only used them once.

If you want them, let me know!

This is your exact unit?

Site says no mercury... or any liquids at all... but that looks like mercury to me...

You bought the tools and synchronizer together and have only used it all once? Name a price.

No mercury. They are metal bars that slide up & down.

$100 + shipping?

You can build your own but it wont be accurate. Getting them level like you read om forums isnt the correct way. Theres a reason why there are marks and measurements.
