Broncos are pretty cheap, I think I might pick one up and try it out. If it doesn't work I'm only out a few bucks in tax.

An El Camino would be a LOT easier to get a bike up into the back. Low to the ground so you'd just need two aluminum ramps or hopefully not, two boards.

So I'll go with either the El Camino or the Ranchero.

Neither of those will pull a car trailer, nor will they go where I need to in the desert.

You started this thread to ask if the bikes could be hauled "in" a vehicle. You never said anything about a trailer or desert.
