I needed a new wood working mallet, so I built one. $3 in wood, $1.62 in pennies, a shit ton of glue, and sanding till my arms are tired. Just needs some dark stain and its done.

And the reason I call it the hebrew hammer

I had forgotten that you were a Jewish carpenter.

That's some nice work there, and a decent use for pennies.
Obviously they weigh more than the wood they replaced, but is it significant heft?

What is the weight? Any idea what the solid wood weight would be?

Just curious what the pennies add - some lead in there may add more heft

Mr. Mitzvah had a paddle. Shouldn't Jewman have a dreidel or something?

Pennies shift around with impact and reduce rebound, I'd imagine. Kind of like a deadblow hammer.

Cool idea!!!

Is heavy, probably between 4 and 6 lbs, the Pennies don't move, they are in there pretty solid, I filled the centers with glue packed around the Pennies too.

Could definitely use one of those as the ban hammer, on our local forum.

Does the seating area work like a conveyor to draw the victim into the mouth ass first?

I was actually thinking this is a chair for an old person.
"Sit down, grandma.." "Can't... thing's lookin' at me like it wants me to die!"

Hahaha, no, is a Petri standard Adirondack chair, with a skull carved into the back. I penciled out a matching footrest last night

Why do you have the Hebrew word for "soup" inscribed on your hammer?
