all the shops i have seen them in sells them as a pistol. the shoulder stock is removable and it shoots pistol ammunition. the skorpion has always been a pistol, just like the cobray m-11 is a pistol

a letter asking them about the legality of a firearm is nothing they get them all the time for clarifaction of rules and regs. Once you receive a letter from them even if they later claim to change their mind you have written proof and they cant really say shit.

I thought that in order to be sold as a "parts kit" a firearm had to be disabled by cutting the receiver? I assume this would have to be transfered through a regular FFL just like a complete gun?
And they sell select-fire parts for an M14?? Almost looks like a BATFE setup to me... |
