The twin blowers like that (IMHO) are just for looks. The parasitic loss from running that configuration would be ungodly. There was a 60something chevy truck at a show with almost the same engine, the owner said it was just for the wow factor. The car is beautiful tho.

A lot of extra money wasted but wouldn't mind putzing around in that thing.

I was thinkin the same thing about the losses from the blowers. performance wise, the way they're stacked two high like that also creates a problem in terms of power cause they completely fuck up the aerodynamics of the car, and just serve as a brake.

The car is beautiful, but the blowers are fugly. Single blower wouldn't be horribly atrocious, a small one with a ram-air hood would be even better.

its pro-street, ridiculously expensive, ridiculous looking, and almost completely incapable of being fast

meh. I like the idea of a well-built big-block with an 8-71, but that setup is ridiculous. If it's a real GTO, someone needs a good slapping.

My thoughts exactly.
I don't mind a little modernization or customization of classic muscle, but don't fuck it up like that.
