Sounds like his person is very naive if they just took the seller's word that the bike was OK. Even with not knowing anything, I would think that common sense would tell you to check everything and ask someone you TRUST if you aren't sure.

Yeh, the guy is 19. I told him to drive back to the guys house with the bike in the back of a truck and demand for his money back. I can sorta understand that the guy just didnt understand how it works and took the guys work for it, but he could have gotten killed.

Sounds to me like the seller took advantage of a newbie...I'd get my money back and then beat his ass.
