GO to the Australian Yamaha site, you might be able to download it for free, that's what I did for my bike, but yours is a bit older.

Honda shop manuals suck. And they make you buy a general manual for "common" maintenance, and a model-specific manual. I have both, but I like the Haynes manual better as it's (hard to believe) more complete. Although my old Suzuki shop manual is the most complete manual I have ever seen.

My Suzuki manual is very good. I got mine online for $7 and it's complete. Try looking around and on the bike specific forums. I know that I'd be happy to donate a copy of my manual to anyone that needs it.

I would say either a factory or a clymers. I used a clymers on a honda shadow lately and it was pretty good.

I took my factory dog manual and modified it. Adding a bunch of good things like a S&S engine manual, S&S super G carb manual, bdm diagnosis flow charts, spyke starter tips, ect... plus a new folder and cover sheets.

But then again I'm an organize freak... look what I did for all my reciepts!

And I know my writing is HORRIBLE!
