And you painted it afterwards... nice final touch for being uber cheap! How much would a new one have set you back?

Looks like it would stick out to the left of the bike a bit... haven't hand any problems with it catching on anything?

Normally I'd insert a token "Jew" joke here but I don't think that's his bike on the ground in the pic (at least not if I remember the KLR he came through here with correctly).

Yeah but a picture of a new kickstand would not be nearly as humourous or Jew-like.

not my bike, in the picture my bike is the one that is about to fall, the one that fell is someone elses. My bike did fall seconds after this picture was taken.

I will say that i probably would have done a very similar fix myself if it had been my kickstand that folded like that
