Man I kinda envy you Terry. I think it's just my life of restraints that causes the envy. Restraints of mortgage, work duties, being on call, work teather (IE: work BB), etc. I just envy people being able to have more freedom.

well I do still have the mortgage. if not for that I wouldn't be worried at all about this turn of events.
It is funny, I've always somewhat envied those who had more stable lives. being able to resist the temptation to roam, because you should. I've always leaned more towards the "eh that looks fun I think I'll do it" thinking. for the most part it has always worked out well for me. I do have the house to go back to whenever I need so that's helpful, albeit pricey.

This is why I'm trying to get completely out of debt, mortgage and all, as fast as possible. Even though I'll still be tied down to this location due to my daughter's mother living here, I don't want to worry about the "what if's" in life. Being completely debt free and living a simple life will be so much more enjoyable.

This site shows migration of 25-34 year-olds in cities over 1 million. You can see where they went in 2008-2010: http://www.scribd.com/fullscreen/733...u8i7gvqrzt2ova You have to zoom in to read it.
