thoughts on a new bike

second thought is a '97 ultra with 75K miles. really nice shape appearance wise, and when you think about it 75K is not a lot of miles for a bike that old.
picking that one up allows me to keep the present ride. would be nice to have a spare to let my kid ride with now and than as well as nto always having to ride a land yacht. LOL

working on the old bike is no big deal. if I pick it up now I would have all winter to go through it and get it ready to make some long hauls next season.


so any known issues with a '97?
any thoughts as to which way you would go.

what are the real differences between the two bikes other than electronics?

Pauldon you're the man. exactly what I was looking for. doesn't seem too disastrous. I was planning a complete rebuild on it anyway if I went the '97 route. the current plan is cross country in two years with a buddy of mine who I got into cycles.

should be able to have her up and running right by than. LOL

I would be keeping the '09 to ride around on while working on the "new" '97.

BTW thanks for a couple of new haunts to hang out in. LOL
