Agreed! when we found our house it was listed for more than we were willing to pay. We said what the heck and gave them a crazy low ball offer, $40,000 less than they were asking. We figured they would say no but would at least let us know what the bottom line was. Imagine our surprise when they accepted our offer!!!! Then got a bonus after the home inspection brought out the fact that the house needed a few improvements they droped another $10,000 off the price:rockwoot: Now even with the fall in the market we are still ahead of the game!

I still think there's a slight buffer between the two groups, though it's slowly fading. There's still something of a clique type of atmosphere and that's where some of the inside joke stuff comes into play. To turn the table slightly, there's a similar feel for me seeing some of the jokes that you may not consider inside jokes, but still being relatively new to the site, they fly over my head.

Just because of the nature of the people posting, I think the feel is something more of a group of friends with a common interest, as opposed to a specific topic forum with common friends. So while their are less strictly motorcycle related topics, it's less about people who have no interest in the general topic and more that everyone is immersed in motorcycling to some degree and it's common. And don't forget we're entering the shit end of the riding season, where bikes are being put away for hibernation. I think the influx started about the same time riding season was coming to a close. It's hard to get amped about a riding thread when the baby is away for a few months. Once season rolls around, I think it'll swing more towards a motorcycle focus as people knock off the dust or pick up new bikes.

And nothing will change with Pauldun and Avatard. Throw in some Speed_Addiction and MVBrutaleGirl/TopShelf/TopsheIf/SunnySportsterGirl/whateverthefuckothername and things would get a little more interesting in the War Room. If only Baby Gorilla was here.

Its a gas grill and goes at a lower temp than most. It was like 7 degrees outside so it wouldn't have ever gotten cooked if there was no blanket. Still took about 2 hours for a thing that normally takes 45 minutes to cook in June.

I WILL be. even found my self a place to live already, though it doesn't open up till 1 April) so I'll take my house hunting days 8 I think... and spend them RIDING... I'm hope'n the weather's nice enough I can ride up to Ambly, and on over to Trip... can't fuck'n wait!

I will have a bike... first weekend I get i'll be going to the dealerships to decide on a bike... next week or two I'll be search'n for the best deal.

I'll be in a hotel for the first 30 days...
I'll get to Mississippi around the 22nd. sign in and start looking for a bike
2-13th will be in Lackland as I've got training there...
15-23rd I'll be house hunting... so figure buy a bike in the first couple days... then head over to see Rae and Jason, Ambly, Trip and who ever else is around there... Quick?

then back down to start work...

the only thing that might hold me up is my travel voucher. as I have to front all the money for the trip... and that includes my down payment for my bike

oh but I'm renting... a 2 bedroom place just north of biloxi... so away from the shore...
